The basic move is to draw a card from the closed deck or from the open deck(cards discarded by other players) and in return discard a card which you think has got the least chance of making a set for the player. Over successive turns, the player tries to complete all sets and a full hand. Therefore "Rummy is a game of skill as opposed to games of chance"
ibibo RUMMY can be played by 2 players. A single deck of 52 cards is used and each player takes turns dealing the cards.
Cards in each suit rank, from low to high: 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Jack Queen King Ace The cards have values as follows: Face cards (K, Q, J) - 10 points, Ace - 10 points. The other cards are given points as per their face value, for eg two will have 2 points, card no 5 will have 5 points as so on

The system randomly decides which player gets to start first. Then the system gives each player 13 cards face down. After distributing 13 cards to both the players, the next card from the deck is turned face up which indicates the joker for the game. The rest of the deck is positioned face down and becomes the common stack of cards.
The person who starts the game (chosen randomly by the system) gets to pick a card from the closed deck
On each turn, a player Draws just one card either from the top card of the opened card deck (cards discarded by players), or from the closed card deck.
Tip:   After drawing a card, the player then can examine his cards and discard one card from his hand onto the open card deck. The card that a player discards is mostly not in sequence with the rest or the only one of its kind making it difficult to form a set or sequence.

  • All the rules remains the same.
  • The game can also start in 3 players.
  • In case there are 3 or 4 players in game, the person to declare should declare valid sets. First his cards will be validated and only if he declares Valid sets, will rest of the users be asked to declare.

If thirteen cards of the Hand can be combined into sets, then the player can declare..
In order to declare the player has to discard the 14th card (the extra card that the player has when it is their turn). After declaring the player needs to put the 13 cards into sets and send cards for Validation. He has 60 secs to declare the cards. The player declaring wins the game if the if the sets meet the validation rules else the person with the lowest value of cards wins the game.
At the time of declaring, the user needs to select the combination of sets for declaring. The opponent user also needs to select his combination of sets so that the system can decide on the winner and the points to be allocated.

A user gets 60 seconds to declare the cards.
