Business Development Manager

Location
Gurgaon, Haryana and Bangalore, Karnataka, Mumbai

Responsibilities
You would be responsible for identify sources of relevant and compelling content and services. Challenges will include:

  • Find unique ways of content aggregation.
  • Strike alliances and partnerships with content owners/ aggregators.
  • Outsource content aggregation activities as required.
  • Manage partner relationships and follow-ups.

Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with broad range of internal and external constituents.
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills regarding contractual, technical and financial issues with partners.
  • Strong partner management experience.
  • Project management experience and ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects.
  • Ability to quickly understand contracts with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and tactically.
  • Excellent partner communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Basic understanding of web serving technologies.
  • Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institute + MBA.
  • 2 to 6 years of Business Development, sales or distribution experience in any of the following sectors - Yellow pages; Media and Internet; Consumer Electronics and Lifestyle products; Entertainment; Local Magazines.
  • Retail sales for Local radio channels etc.
  • A savvy internet user.
